Tata Communications is expected to pay $58.8 million in cash to purchase The Switch Enterprises LLC, a live video production and transmission services provider with access to top-tier sporting venues in North America.
Tata Communications stated that it will build a solid footing in the media and entertainment markets of the Americas, expand its portfolio into live video production, and become a global end-to-end media ecosystem participant in the full content development value chain.
Tata Communications will provide consumers with The Switch with worldwide access to over 190 countries and territories.
The Switch will provide cutting-edge live production capabilities, allowing companies to create high-quality, immersive content more quickly and efficiently.
